Terms

These terms are the rules for using Maxlead. They apply to a publisher who opens an account, to a person who requests an offer, and to anyone who places a tracking link. If you use the desk, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not open an account and do not place a link.

Maxlead is a tracking desk. It holds offers, records visits, records conversions that are approved, and shows a publisher the numbers that belong to that publisher. It is not a promise of traffic, a promise of a rate, or a promise of a payout date. The rate, the country list, the cap, and the payout timing for an offer are written on that offer. If this page and an offer disagree, the offer is the rule for that offer.

The account

An account is opened in the name of one publisher. The company name, the contact, and the payment details you submit are the details the desk will use. You must give details that are true and that you are allowed to use. You must keep the sign-in details to yourself. Activity under your account is treated as yours, including a tracking link that was copied from your desk and a postback that was saved on your account.

A new account can stay pending until the network accepts it. A pending account is not a right to run every offer. The network can refuse an account, pause an account, or close an account if the details are wrong, if the traffic breaks an offer rule, or if the account is used by someone else without a clear record of who is responsible.

One person should not open a second account to hide a refusal, a cap, or a paused offer. If two accounts are the same publisher, the network can treat them as one account and can pause both.

Offers

The catalog shows offers the network is carrying. An offer can be open to a publisher, or it can require approval before a tracking link is issued. Approved means you are allowed to run that offer. Paused means the offer is not taking traffic. Pending means a request has been made and has not been decided. A public offer can be used once your account is allowed to see it. An offer that requires approval cannot be treated as approved because it appears in a list.

The homepage can show a sample of campaigns, with a name and a figure, so a visitor can see the kind of offer the desk carries. That figure is the figure stated for that campaign at the time the page is shown. It is not a contract, it is not a minimum, and it can change on the offer itself. Do not place media against a homepage card. Place media only against the tracking link taken from your account after the offer is approved for you.

Each offer can name the countries it accepts, the traffic it accepts, a daily or other cap, and whether a conversion is approved automatically or only after a review. You must read those rules before you send a visit. A creative, a preview, or a landing page supplied with the offer is the material you may use for that offer. Do not invent a bonus, a rate, or a country the offer does not state.

Tracking links

A tracking link is created for your account and for one offer. It is the only link that should be placed in front of a visitor. A link from another publisher, a link you rewrote by hand, or a link that drops the identifiers the desk expects, may not be counted. Sub IDs that the desk supports can be added so you can tell one placement from another. Those sub IDs are stored with the click and can appear on your report. They are your labels. Do not put a password, a payment number, or another person’s private data into a sub ID.

You may place the link on a site, in an app, in an email you are allowed to send, or with a partner who is allowed to buy traffic for you, if the offer allows that channel. You are responsible for the placement even when another person sends the click. If the offer forbids a channel, do not use that channel and do not ask someone else to use it for you.

Clicks

A click is a visit that arrives on a valid tracking link. The desk can store the offer, the time, the country, the device, the referrer, and the sub IDs on that visit. A repeated visit can be marked as a duplicate. Duplicates can be shown in your summary so you can see them, and they are not a second conversion.

If a visit arrives from a country the offer does not accept, the desk does not have to store that visit as a click on that offer. The visitor can be sent to another offer on the network that accepts a wider set of countries. That redirect is not approval for you to buy the blocked country on purpose. Buying a country the offer excludes, in order to force the redirect, is a misuse of the link.

You must not send clicks that are not real people making a real visit. Scripts, bots, forced clicks, hidden frames, and clicks you generate yourself to test a live offer, except a test the network has asked you to make, are not allowed. A test conversion is not earnings.

Conversions

A conversion is a result the advertiser reports against a click, such as a lead, a sale, or a first-time action the offer describes. The desk does not treat every notice as money. A conversion can be approved, or it can be refused because it failed the offer rule, arrived after a cap, came from a country or a source the offer does not take, or was a duplicate. You see approved results on your publisher report. A result that is still waiting, or a result the network has removed from your view because it did not qualify, is not shown to you as earnings and is not available to be paid.

Approval can be automatic or manual, as the offer says. Manual approval can take the time the advertiser needs to check the lead. The desk does not set that time on this page. Until a conversion is approved, do not treat it as a balance you can withdraw.

Postbacks

You can save a global postback for the account and a postback for one offer. The postback is a URL you control. When a conversion is approved, the desk can call that URL and can fill the tokens the guide describes, including the click and the sub IDs that were on the visit. A postback is a notice. It is not itself the payment. If your server is down, slow, or refuses the call, the conversion can still stand on the desk. You should keep your own log. The network can show whether a call succeeded or failed.

Use only tokens the desk documents. Do not expect a token that is not listed to be replaced. Do not point a postback at a service you are not allowed to use. You are responsible for what your URL does with the data it receives.

Reports

Your report shows the clicks, the duplicates, the approved conversions, and the approved earnings that belong to your account, including the sub IDs on those rows. It is there so you can check a placement. It is not a bank statement. Figures can move if a conversion is approved later or if a duplicate is identified. Export or copy what you need for your own books, and keep that copy, because the live report describes the desk as it stands.

Earnings and payment details

Approved earnings are the amounts tied to conversions the desk has approved for your account. They are not paid merely because they appear on a row. A payout is made only when the network runs a payout, to the payment details you saved, and only for earnings that are still approved at that time. The offer, not this page, states any hold or any minimum that applies. The network does not state a calendar date on this page, because the date follows the offer and the payout run.

Save payment details that can receive the funds, in your own name or in the name of the company on the account. After the details are saved, you can open them again and edit them. You must update them if they change. The network can delay a payout if the details are incomplete, if they do not match the account, or if a payment partner refuses them. A payout sent to the details you saved is treated as sent to you.

Caps and quality

An offer can carry a cap for a day or for another period. When the cap is reached, further conversions may not be accepted. Do not keep buying traffic into a capped offer and then ask for those visits to be paid. The network can also refuse traffic that is concentrated on one sub ID, one site, or one country in a way the offer did not allow, or traffic that produces clicks without a normal pattern of real visits.

What you must not do

You must not promote an offer with a claim the offer does not make. You must not hide the landing page, alter a conversion notice, or interfere with another publisher’s link. You must not scrape the desk, share an API key in public, or use another publisher’s account. You must not send malware, unwanted email, or traffic from a source the offer forbids. You must not use the message desk to harass the account manager or to send content that is unrelated to the account.

The network can pause an offer, pause your access to an offer, or pause the account while it checks a placement. During that pause you must stop sending traffic to the affected link. Traffic sent after a pause can be refused.

Account manager and messages

An account manager can be assigned to your account. Messages you send from the desk go to that manager. The manager, or another person the network chooses on the admin side, can reply. The name or the role of the person who replies can be shown to you. Messages are part of the account record. Do not send payment secrets in a message if a payment field already exists for them.

The offers API

If the network gives you an API key, that key can be used to read offers for a site you operate. One key can be copied to more than one site you control. You must keep the key private. The key can return offers that are approved for you and offers that are still pending, so that a catalog can stay current. A pending offer in an API response is not permission to run it. You may generate a new key when the desk allows it. A new key is a reason to stop using the old one. The network can limit how often the API may be called.

Referrals

If the desk gives you a referral link, a publisher who joins through that link can be recorded as your referral. Any referral amount is the amount the network has set, and it is not stated on this page. A referral is not earned by opening a second account yourself.

Closing an account and changes

You can stop using the desk at any time. Ask the account manager to close the account if you want the sign-in removed. Approved earnings that are already due can still be paid on the following payout run, to the details on the account, unless those earnings are later refused under the offer rules. The network can close an account that breaks these terms. On closure you must stop using every tracking link from that account.

The network can change these terms by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top is the date of the version you are reading. If you keep using the desk after that date, you accept the new version. Offer rules can change without a change to this page. Check the offer before a new placement.

Questions about these terms go to the support address shown on the homepage. These terms do not name a court and do not set a payout calendar. They set the rules of the desk. The offer sets the deal for that offer.
